Awards Official Rules
DEADLINE
Entries must be postmarked and received by the dates stipulated
on each Art Discipline’s “Call for Entries” Information
published on this site and in the appropriate media. For
questions about deadlines, Official Rules or any other
additional information about The HARC Awards, please email

1. The HARC Awards
creative arts competitions are open to emerging creative artists
who have never previously been honored with an award, financial
stipend or recognition of any kind for the creative artwork submitted.
2. The
work submitted must be unpublished or not previously performed
or exhibited in or by any public, private or government forum
or entity.
3. The
work submitted must be original and the sole creative effort
of the individual(s) submitting it.
4.
Entries
are limited to one per category, per creative artist.
5. The
competition is only open to American citizens or legal residents.
6. HARC
cash awards and presentations are not transferable.
7. Entries must include a One-Page Essay that describes why the cash award is needed and how the proceeds will be utilized.
8. The
HARC Foundation is not responsible for any entries received in
damaged condition or not received by the deadline stipulated
for current year art discipline competitions.
9.
The HARC
Foundation cannot acknowledge receipt of entries, nor return
submitted entry materials. Lists of award recipients are
available for art discipline competitions and notification
dates and information are supplied with details for each
HARC Award “Call
for Entries”. Such notification will be provided upon
request to individuals who provide a self-addressed, stamped
envelope mailed to: The HARC Foundation, P.O. Box 11596,
Marina del Rey, CA 90295.

The decisions of the judging committee are final and binding. Applicants, as a condition of entry, agree
not to contest or challenge the results of the competition.
11.
Winners are solely responsible for any Federal, State or local
taxes.
12.
Winners must sign an affidavit and provide documentation
stating their compliance with rules 1-5 above and return it within
21 days of receipt of Award notification or forfeit their Award.
13.
Entry and acceptance of any award constitutes permission
(except where prohibited by law) to use recipient’s
name, likeness, hometown and their winning creative entry
for publicity purposes related to The HARC Awards competition,
programs and Award Presentation Events without further remuneration.
14.
Entrants retain all rights to their creative submissions.
15.
Employees and immediate family members of The HARC Foundation
Board of Directors, Advisory Board or Advisory Council may
not enter the competition.
16.
Entries that are not winners in one competition year may be
submitted in future HARC Award competitions providing they
fulfill the current year requirements and specifications.
